What a pre-order is
A pre-order reserves an item that is not in stock yet. Each product shows an expected date or month (“Ships by …”). Dates are our best estimate from the maker or supplier.
Payment
- Pay in full: you pay the whole price at checkout.
- Deposit: you pay the deposit at checkout; when your item is ready we email a secure link to pay the balance. If the balance isn’t paid within the time shown in the email (14 days unless stated), we may cancel the pre-order and refund what can be refunded.
- Prices and early-bird tiers are shown before you order; the price you pay is locked in.
Delays
If the expected date changes, we email you straight away. You can keep your pre-order or cancel it for a full refund of what you paid.
Cancelling
You can cancel until your item ships. Deposits are refundable unless the product page and checkout said otherwise. Personalised pre-orders may not be cancellable once production has started.
Stock and allocation
Pre-orders are filled in the order they were placed. If fewer pieces arrive than expected, later pre-orders wait for the next batch and we tell you the new date.
Combined orders
Orders with pre-orders and in-stock items may ship separately; shipping is not charged twice.
